Japan Day Event to Mark 2nd Anniversary of 2011 Tsunami
We are supporting the Edinburgh University Japanese Society Japan Day charity event, which will be taking place on the 17th of March. Based in the Pleasance Cabaret Bar, the event will mark the 2nd anniversary of the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. Throughout the day, there will be a variety of Japanese cultural demonstrations and activities to raise both awareness and proceeds for charities in the affected area. One of which is Aid For Japan, a charity for orphans of the tsunami. Entry Prices: Japanese Society Members - £5 Non-Members - £7 Entry price includes Japanese Food!
